After Hours arrival is no problem, as we don't have a front desk. Simply have your access code handy as it will act as your key into the house and your room (contact us if you haven't received your code by the morning of arrivals!). If arriving after 10pm, please be mindful of noise as a courtesy to others in the house.
If your arrival is DELAYED please notify us ASAP! No Call / No Show reservations will be cancelled without refund on the day after their scheduled arrival.
25 is our minimum age for the primary guest and to make a reservation - ID will be verified on arrival. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or adult legal guardian. Groups violating this policy will have their reservations cancelled without refund.
No. Smoking is not allowed inside Flora House or in any of the guest rooms. If you wish to smoke, you must do so outside, and you'll find several comfy spots in the garden. A minimum $250 penalty will be charged for smoking of any kind inside the building or guest rooms.
All rates are based upon double occupancy (up to 2 guests per room). In rooms with capacity for more than 2 guests, a nightly fee of $50/person will apply.
We have a “No Pets” policy at Flora House, which also applies to emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals.
Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), we accept service animals defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability. Per ADA requirements, a service animal must be under the handler's control at all times and therefore may not be left unattended while on the property. Per City of Denver law: animal handlers must immediately remove or clean up all fecal waste deposited by their dogs, whether on public or private property.
We do not allow emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals because they have not been trained to perform a specific job or task, and therefore do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
Flora House offers complementary, premium wifi that covers the entire property and garden.
Children are welcome, and must be under adult supervision at all times.

There's room for up to 5 vehicles in our private lot, FIRST COME / FIRST SERVED.

We’re about 30 minutes from Denver International Airport by car.
We do not operate any shuttle serices, however a Red Rocks Shuttle picks up at Illegal Pete's just 1/2 block away! Reserve directly with them HERE
Every room has a hair dryer in the bathroom vanity drawer.
Denver's RTD 15 Line bus runs East/West along Colfax, connecting at Union Station downtown. The nearest stop to Flora House is at Colfax and Josephine (4 blocks east of us).

No, we do not have laundry facilities available. The nearest options are the Dependable Cleaners on 18th (3.5 blocks north on Race St then turn right), or Supreme Dry Cleaners on 13th (1.5 blocks south on Race then to your left).
We provide a complimentary, "Continental" breakfast daily between 8am-10am, with a rotation of options such as pastry, cheese/meats, fresh fruit, bread & spreads, cereal, oatmeal and yogurt.
If you prefer a cooked breakfast we can recommend several nearby restaurants that we love.
The items we most often hear this question about are our Granola cereal and our charcuterie tray Salami. We puchase both of these items at Costco (we're big fans), and links are here below!

Our building has central air and heating, so there are not thermostats in individual rooms. We keep the house temperature around 70*. For guests who prefer a warmer space, we offer space heaters that can be taken to your room. For guests who prefer a cooler space, all rooms have windows that open as well as ceiling fans.
No, Flora House Denver is not a "Bud & Breakfast" and we are not affiliated with 'Bud & Breakfast' in any way.
Under prior owners (Adagio B&B) this property did operated that way several years ago, but Flora House is a new business with new owners and no affiliation with Adagio.
We do not provide cannabis.
Smoking is prohibited in our property and Guest Rooms.

No. But if you'd like to get moving, each room has yoga mats, we're surrounded by great parks and trails for running, and we even have a few bikes available to borrow.
We are also just 4 blocks from Carla Madison Rec Center which has a great gym, several pools and a variety of fitness classes. The visit is free, and subsequent day passes cost just $6/day for non-members. Visit the Rec Center front desk for admission.
Yes! We have 2 bikes for our guests to borrow, first come first served and free of charge (waiver & deposit required). If you'd like to use the bikes, please try to give us 48hrs notice so we can have them ready for you. Only available during daylight hours / not after dark.
Yes! Located in our beautiful garden, an 8 person hot tub is the perfect place to relax and unwind. We do not have hot tubs or bathtubs in any guest rooms.
Just like at a traditional hotel, our kitchen facilities are for staff use only. Microwaves can be found in each of the King rooms as well as the Lilac Queen suite, and there is a toaster in the Dining Room for guest use.
