~ 2nd Floor ~

The Silver fern is the symbol of New Zealand, the home country of Flora House's owners. This 2nd floor King Suite is filled with soft, filtered light from North- and East-facing windows, which is just the type of light a Silver fern enjoys. This peaceful King Suite features a kitchenette, desk, sitting area and oversized sleeping porch that has been converted to a spacious and exotic bathroom and dressing room with vintage wicker vanity. Complimentary toiletries are provided in the ensuite bathroom.

This 2nd floor Queen room is cheerful and bright with South-facing views of our private garden. Guests will enjoy the antique desk and ornate armoire, coordinated with modern art and lighting. Named for the Zinnia flower which we think of as the happiest flower, the charm of this room brings a smile to everyone’s face.  The spacious bathroom has a luxurious feel with stunning custom tile and a dressing area complete with vintage wicker vanity set. Complimentary toiletries are provided in the ensuite bathroom.

This 2nd floor Queen room is bold yet delicate with striking details, just like its namesake. Guests love the exposed brick, elegant vanity, custom tile and handsome furnishings that blend antique and contemporary styles in both the bathroom and bedroom.  There’s even a small sitting area and desk, framed by original curved oak windows with a view of our private garden.  Complimentary toiletries are provided in the ensuite bathroom.

This 2nd floor King Suite faces West, tucked behind the grove of 100+ year old Ponderosa pines in front of our house. Quiet and elegant with dappled sunlight, this is the kind of spot Orchids love. A bronze era fireplace with antique molded fireplace tiles adorn the sitting room, complete with a desk, couch/chairs and an optional Queen Murphy bed (fees apply). In the adjoining bedroom, guests will find a King bed, kitchenette, and newly renovated ensuite bathroom where complimentary toiletries are provided.

This 3rd floor King Suite is bright and grand, the largest room in our house. Iris is a favorite as the BRIDAL SUITE for wedding parties (enquire for more info!). You'll find ample space to relax and unwind whether you’re visiting for work or pleasure.  The main room features a King bed and optional Queen Murphy bed (fees apply), a sitting area, kitchenette, desk, ensuite bathroom and walk in closet. The adjoining sunroom holds a Twin bed, and a second nicely sized closet. Tall ceilings, bright colors, and ample sunlight earned this room its name. Complimentary toiletries are provided in the ensuite bathroom.

Stargazer is a Double Suite containing 2 rooms and occupying more than half of our 3rd floor.  

Stargazer - the main room - features a King bed, sitting area with smart TV, desk, dining nook and kitchenette. Arching above the spacious room, guests will find a moonlit, starry night mural paited across the vaulted ceiling - hence the room's name!  One large ensuite bathroom is located past the kitchenette and includes complimentary toiletries.

The attached bedroom (Hyacinth) is complete with its own Queen bed, desk and TV.  This little bedroom is small and lovely, earning its name 'Hyacinth'.

Whether traveling for business or fun, the sophistication and whimsy of this two-room suite will provide unforgettable ambiance for your visit.

The Lilac Queen Suite is our only Queen room with a kitchenette!  Located on the ground level of Flora House just past the Dining Room, Lilac is private and quiet with two separate spaces for guests to enjoy. 

The bright, elegant bedroom features a Queen bed, sitting area with smart TV, closet and attached bathroom. Across the hall, a small adjacent Office includes a desk, kitchenette and Twin Trundle bed which can be configured as one or two twin beds upon request (be sure to note your preferences if using this second bed, so that our staff can set the space for you ahead of arrival. Fees apply).
